NANS Edo JCC Plans 10,000 Students' March Against Electoral Violence

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Council (JCC), Edo State, has scheduled Friday August 23, 2024 for a 10,000 students' march in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

13,367 candidates were successful in the just held Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) of the University of Benin, representing 94% of the total number of candidates who sat for the test.

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) Post UTME (PUTME) and Post DIRECT ENTRY (PUDE) Admission Screening Exercise for 2022/2023 Academic Session is scheduled to hold between Monday 14th November, 2022 and Thursday 24th November, 2022 in designated centres within Ugbowo Campus of the University. The Screening Exercise shall be conducted using the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

Following the challenges faced by alumni of the University of Benin in their efforts towards procuring their academic transcripts, especially amid the ongoing strike by staff unions, the institution’s management has formally launched the student-copy transcript portal.
