Following the challenges faced by alumni of the University of Benin in their efforts towards procuring their academic transcripts, especially amid the ongoing strike by staff unions, the institution’s management has formally launched the student-copy transcript portal.
The novel student-copy transcript, an initiative of the current Vice Chancellor, Professor Lilian Salami, is in line with the vision and innovative drive of the VC for the great citadel of learning.
CAMPUS GIST reports that Prof. Salami during the last convocation ceremony of the University, disclosed that Senate had given approval for her Administration to deploy the student-copy transcript in the current academic session.
August 1, 2022, shows that the Salami led Administration has now implemented the Senate’s approval.
The “unofficial” student-copy transcript is now available on the individual alumni WaeUp e-portal (student Kofa page).
And guess what???
It’s totally FREE!!!
It can be accessed from the “Study Course” option under the “My Data” column from
https://waeup.uniben.edu/login.
The student-copy transcript is one of the numerous innovations deployed by Prof. Salami upon her assumption of office as VC. Other great innovations by the Salami led Administration which has since attracted several kudos include the online Certificate Application app which can be accessed online via https://certificateapp.uniben.edu/.
Kindly Note:
• the UNIBEN student-copy transcript is for “unofficial use only”, according to a watermark on the document;
• it was prepared using the student’s results available and uploaded online by their respective departments;
• you might encounter incomplete document: it simply means your result for that particular session is unavailable online;
• contact your Department or the University ICT department for further assistance or wait for more updates, if you fall under the above category;
• if you see the error message, “invalid credentials” or “no record found”, please double check to be sure your details were entered correctly and try again later;
• you might be logged out while trying to download the transcript. Please note that, it is due to traffic and number of requests on the server. Simply re-login and try again.
Best!

Is this accessible for those who graduated since 2016?
great news
Accessible to all
I don't think the option is available for post-graduate students... When I click on the "Study Course" option, It always logged me out...
I have been seeing this for months on my kofa but anytime I click on it I always get logged out
It's not functional yet! Results that should have been uploaded since 3 years ago still has not been uploaded. Why is the University of Benin so slow?? They're always crawling
This is so frustrating. Does it take forever to upload transcripts. I graduated 14 years ago, I thought by now my transcripts should have been uploaded on my portal. This thing is not funny at all. Why will I keep missing out on global opportunities just because of the delay in processing transcripts. This is not nice at all.
I tried every detail using my data as instructed but to no avail.
Very frustrating..I am just tired and frustrated with this system.
Please how do I get the official transcript
On my cousins portal, it is showing Current Level: 100 even though he should have graduated in 2014/2015. What does it mean?
This is 2023 and it isn’t available yet
Still not working!
It's 2024 and it still does not work!!!
I wish and pray that some day this hope would be realisable. I develop goose pimples anytime I need my uniben transcript. I have lost several oportunities because of the bottlenecks to access result. Some individuals have privatised the services from their desks. You send mails to reputable offices without acknowledment nor reponse, payments for transcript without response or tracking procesure for more than a year now. We can be proud of our institution again if the monitors are monitored. Oh! great uniben where have thou gotten it wrong!!
If you have an insider within a month your transcript will be out. But you hv to pay them.
