In the wake of continuing uncertainties regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, and in line with the position of the Federal
Ministry of Education that no date has been fixed for the re-opening of schools, the Management of the University of Benin has extended resumption by staff and students until further notice. However, members of staff are to keep working from home.
It is important to point out that staff on essential duties, including health care, security, fire service and utilities (electricity and water), are to continue to make the necessary sacrifices while observing all the safety rules.
We shall overcome.
