Current Update as regards Strike in Uniben

It's no longer news that ASUU and other NLC bodies have commenced strike, and the SUG PRO confirmed this by going round campus announcing it at major night class locations.

But it has been brought to our notice that many have relaxed with the misconception that the strike means automatic postponement / abandoned of exams.  We want to say this fact is not entirely correct.

As dynamic as Uniben is,  we would advice our students to go to their exams centers as congress would be meeting (Uniben chapter) tomorrow, their verdict would determine if exams still holds.  We don't advice any student to stay behind.

And news also resurfaced that ekosodin back gate may be closed early tomorrow  hence students leaving on time by 5:30am, we advice that this info couldn't be validated and more risk are attached to you leaving Ekosodin at that time of the day.

We urge our students to be careful as news reaching us says that there's unrest in Ekosodin.

Please try to be at your exams centres,  it's better you're told to go back home than hurried to the exam hall.
