Important notice from the Students Union Government to all UNIBEN students

After a long meeting today with the University of Benin management that
ended in deadlock, the Students Union government have expressed its displeasure for not being carried along on vital issues as regards the Students welfare. Issues like increment of Hostel charges, work study, school fees.

The Students Union government hereby pass this resolution which profess:

1)No increment of hostel charges
2)Work study students must be paid before convocation
3)Transfer fee be returned to status quo
4)shuttle within and outside the University be addressed
5)Payment portal be shut until after deliberation between management and the Students Union government.

Students that violated the advice from the Students Union government and went ahead to pay the school fees as at today without waiting for any update from the students Union government are at their own risk.

In conclusion, students are advised not to pay any fee until the Students Union government are done with its deliberation with the University management.
