Improving UNIBEN online and visibility- Researchgate, Google scholar and Academia

Following the directive of the Vice Chancellor, Professor FFO Orumwense (FNSE) on the need to increase the visibility and online presence of UNIBEN, all academic staff are encouraged to have their research outputs (published articles) and other academic

information uploaded to established and verified databases such as:

1. Google Scholar – https://scholar.google.com/
2. ResearchGate – https://www.researchgate.net/
3. Academia – https://www.academia.edu/

Academia.edu is another very useful social networking website strictly for academics and researchers. Research outputs (published articles), research materials, monitoring of research in different areas of specialties and networking with researchers are some benefits obtained from academia.edu

The overall benefit will be to boost the University of Benin webometric ranking. Those who are not yet on the databases,  are encouraged to do so.

Provost, Deans and Directors of academic units are kindly requested circulate to academic staff.
