The Organization of Women in Science for Developing World (OWSD) Uniben Chapter
in an attempt to impact on her immediate environment is planning a one-day workshop with the theme Achieving Excellence in University Education for 100Level female students. The workshop aims at empowering female 100Level science students with social and academic information and skills necessary to excel in learning and character. Much as the workshop targets female science students, interested male students are welcomed.
The workshop will involve speakers on Achieving Excellence in Learning, Achieving Excellence in Character and Mentoring. Group discussion, question and answer session on faculty basis, which is expected to dovetail into mentoring plan for the students are included.
This is to formally request your presence at the opening ceremony, as one of the dignitaries at this special event.
