The management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN). Benin City. in Edo state, has permitted the sale of only UNIBEN bread in its campuses.
This was disclosed in a statement on Sunday widely circulated by the Institution's Spokesperson. Dr. Benedicta Ehanire. endorsed by management.
CAMPUS GIST reports that the UNIBEN bread is produced by UNIBEN Bakery. located in the Ugbowo main campus of the University.
According to the statement. by this latest directive. the sale of bread brought from outside the University is hereby banned.
Similarly. the University of Benin management equally prohibited the sale of table water. other than UNIBEN water. in its campuses.
"The Task forces on UNIBEN Bakery and UNIBEN Water are to monitor and enforce the ban." the statement added.
