SUG UPDATE: Executive council appreciation and reaffirmation message




We bring greetings from the newly elected executives arm of the Student Union Government.


First, we want to thank the entire student community for the En-mass support during the conduct of the just concluded SUG elections. As we all know the election started as at 11am and ended by 5pm whereas some faculty who had difficulty in voting saw theirs till about 6:30pm.

In all the election was a huge success as it recorded higher student participation compared to previous years.
This goes a long way to show the level of trust that has been committed and entrusted in the hand of the newly elected Excos, and with this we are ready to make your vote count by ensuring that whatsoever promise made at the manifesto will be met accordingly.

Special thanks to the officials of NANS, Man 'O' War, Red Cross Society, the Uniben security and all the returning officials for their time dedicated to this course. Thanks to the Management of University of Benin, for providing with us a conductive atmosphere for election.

To our Hall 1 Queens, the invaluable Hall 2 damsels, the ever rugged Hall 3 brothers, the peaceful NDDC students,  the ever lovely Hall 4 brothers, the gentle Hall 5 brothers and sisters and the forever beautiful Hall 6 ladies, we want to appreciate your time and support.

Finally, the Student Union Government under the watch of our capacity President, Comrade Charles Idehen wishes to reaffirm the constant plight of student welfare and student needs as the paramount agenda in the administration.
