STUDENTS’ UNION ELECTIONS (EXECUTIVE & PARLIAMENT) TIME TABLE 2016/2017

Below you find the official time table for the 2016/2017 Students’ Union Elections (Executive & Parliament)

TUESDAY 28^TH MARCH- FRIDAY 31^ST, 2017 -    Collection and submission of nomination forms into the Students’ Union Executive and Parliament. End at 12noon on Friday.

MONDAY 3^RD APRIL, 2017 – Screening of aspirants for Students’ Union Executive by Electoral Commission.

TUESDAY 4^TH APRIL, 2017  -  Screening of aspirants for Students’ Union Parliament by Electoral Commission.

WEDNESDAY 5^TH APRIL, 2017 - Report of security clearance/screening and displays of results.

THURSDAY 6^TH APRIL, 2017 – Receipts of all appeals. Appeals after 12noon on 06/04/2017 shall not be entertained.

FRIDAY 7^TH APRIL, 2017 – Resolution of all appeals and display of final results.

SATURDAY 8^TH APRIL, 2017 – Commission’s interactive/debate session with the aspirants. (Ugbowo & Ekewan Campuses) Time: 10am – 2pm

MONDAY 10TH APRIL, 2017 – Manifesto day by aspirants to the Students’ Union Executive positions. Time: 10am Venue: Hall two Car Park.

TUESDAY 11^TH APRIL, 2017 – General election (Students’ Union Executive). Final declaration of election results.

WEDNESDAY 12^TH APRIL, 2017 – Swearing – in ceremony of newly elected Executive officers at 10am

WEDNESDAY 12^TH APRIL, 2017 – Inaugural meeting of parliament/Elections of Parliamentary officer at 10am

THURSDAY 13^TH APRIL, 2017 – Swearing –in ceremony of newly elected Parliamentary officers/Judicial Officers at 10am.
