Election into the Executive positions of the Halls of Residence 2016/2017- Guideline/Vacant Position for Hall Elections

The following are vacant positions in the Halls of Residence


1. Mayor/Chairperson
2. Deputy Mayor/Vice-Chairperson
3. Financial Secretary
4. Welfare Officer

QUALIFICATION

(A) An aspriant must be duly registered student for the 2016/2017 academic session. Documentary evidence registration must be signed by the Head of Department or Dean as appropriate.

(B)  Only a Bona fide student who is at present officially allocated to the hall is qualified to contest for position. Applicants must enclose the following document:

1a. Aspirants must be a bonafide resident of the Hall, and should attach photocopy of evidence of hostel clearance.

b. One Photostat copy of bank teller for payment of Hostel Maintenance fee.
c. One Photostat copy of residential card for the 2016/2017 session.

2. Aspirant must be a registered student for the 2016/2017 session.

3.An aspirant must present an affidavit pf "non" cult membership for the  2016/2107 session.

4. Any student holding an office in any society, club or organisation in whatever form its not eligible to contest to any position.
5. Must not be a final year student.

Interested candidates should obtain relevant Nomination Form from the Hall PEO's Office.
