REGISTRATION ISSUE

In the issue of registration, a lot of candidates were forced to ask if those who have registered before are to register again when a notice was passed that the Screening application is the on.

The simple answer to the question is, NO. The notice was meant for those who have NOT REGISTERED before, they are to register because the school does not have their data yet on their system. So, if you know you have not registered before please do well to register because the portal will close soon.

candidates are advised to simply fill out their application details and upload their red background passport size and click on save. No payment is involved. 

NOTE: Only those who choose The University of Benin as first choice in JAMB are to register for the Screening.

For those who have errors in their passport or made a mistake during registration. Please visit the Main Auditorium of the University of Benin, it will be resolved there. 

AUGUST 15TH

The August 15th Resumption date for new students has caused a lot of trauma. The date August 15th was a proposed date for newly admitted students to come into the School for their clearance, though the date has not yet changed since no new academic calendar has been brought forth by the school authorities. The simple logic here is that, if the Screening test (CBT) which was held at various centers in the University of Benin was successfully completed, by now a lot of you must be gained admission into UNIBEN. But as it is now, the screening test was canceled. Candidates must first be given admission before they can come into the school for clearance.

DATE FOR SCREENING 

Jamb has earlier withdraw-ed the list of candidates sent to Uniben for admission. 
In a statement which was signed by the Head of Media, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, stated that the reason for the withdrawal is to ensure that the university senate perform its statutory responsibility of selecting candidates and referring them to JAMB for confirmation in line within the admission criteria (merit, catchment and educationally disadvantaged states (ELDs) as stipulated by the Minister of Education Mallam Adamu Adamu. Ever since then, the school has not decided on the model they are to use for giving admission to students.
The UNIBEN PRO also said that candidates should be careful so as not to fall into the hands of fraudsters.
