VC'S CUP SUG UPDATE!!!!

  The atmosphere around UNIVERSITY OF BENIN was agog with FUN and MERRIMENT as the VC CUP climaxed yesterday 27th may, 2016.
   It was clash of the TITANS as the
female team of the faculty of EDUCATION engaged the faculty of ARTS in a 90mins challenge for the back of the net. Followed immediately were the legendary male team of the faculty of ARTS in battle for the GOLD with the amiable male team of the faculty of LIFE SCIENCES.
  In battling for the GOLD, the various faculty mates cheered their spectacular players as they struggle tirelessly to drop the ball in the net.
Spicing up the event were the faculty of ARTS students who came out in mass chanting some victorious songs with the roll of the DRUM almost clouding the beautiful works of DJ ETIO, at the other end of the pitch were the faculty of EDUCATION who were also full with life hoping that it is NEVER OVER UNTIL IT IS OVER despite the DROP of a beautiful GOAL against her (EDUCATION) in the first half.
  Hell was loosen when the final whistle was blown leaving EDUCATION 0-1 ARTS in the VC'S CUP FEMALE COMPETITION.
   FOLLOWED Immediately were the TWO STANDING HEROES in the VC CUP FINAL MALE TEAM, faculty of ARTS against LIFE SCIENCES where display of scientific and humanitarian skills was the order of the day.
  In the spirit of chanting VICTORIOUS SONGS by faculty of ARTS STUDENTS and STAFF like #winningisinourblood#winningisourtradition#winningisourculture#, the GOLDEN net was torn one more time with a PENALTY KICK in favour of the WINNING TEAM @facultyofARTS.
   However, the DEFENDING CHAMPIONS @facultyofLIFESCIENCES fought tirelessly and legendarily to reverse the STANDING ORDER and had same opportunity @aPENALTYKICK like that of their opposing CHAMPIONS but blew it up in a manner the DEFENDING CHAMPIONS will never forget, leaving the COMPETITION, LIFE SCIENCES 0-1ARTS.
   The HISTORY DEAN of faculty of ARTS who made HISTORY couldn't hold back his joy as he watched his BOYS AND GIRLS WIN the VC's CUP BACK TO BACK thereby becoming the first ever faculty to WIN the VC CUP MALE AND FEMALE.
   It was a memorable event as the VICE CHANCELLOR and his TEAM, the DEAN of various faculties, the SUG SAFE IMPACT 2016, the PRINCIPLE OFFICERS of the PARLIAMENT, STAFF and STUDENTS were all present encouraging the CHAMPIONS as the CUPS and PRICES were humbly handed over to the 1st and 2nd runner up as well the CHAMPIONS by our peace and STUDENT friendly VICE CHANCELLOR.
   To be informed is your RIGHT, this is what i am called to do as bridging the LACUNA between YOU and the INFORMATION department remains my UTMOST PRIORITY.
  There is the rumour about the adjusted DATE of our EXAMINATIONS, this is to inform us that the rumored date has not been authenticated yet and UNIBEN INTELLECTUALS should keep calm as the REAL EXAM DATE will be communicated to us all shortly.
   In all, lets not forget that SAFE IMPACT 2016 is highly set to represent our INTEREST PROACTIVELY because YOU SPEAK WE LISTEN thereby enabling us WIN TOGETHER.
