Years ago this Institution (University of Benin) was established and since then she has graduated so many persons both male and female.
From time immemorial, Instead of victors, most students of uniben have fallen victims due to so many negative cases.
Some of these cases are missing scripts, inability of students to write exams due to no payment of school fees, inability of students to get hostel accommodation even when they rightly applied for it with their money, bad condition of the halls of residence, increase in amount of food stuff and other commodities/ services, and lots more.
Over time the SUG which is supposed to be the acronym for Student’s Union Government and explicitly controlled by students, is now controlled by the school management. It is supposed to be an autonomous association which is strictly a government of the students; by the students and for the students, but over time this has not been achievable in UNIBEN.
The UNIBEN SUG has lost its autonomy and is now Government of the Students, by the School Management and for the Students. i.e., it is only a Students’ Union (SU) why the actual Governing (G), is done by the school management.
IS THIS HOW WE ARE GOING TO CONTINUE? NO!!
Now the solution is here, a young man is here to remedy these negative cases, he has taken it upon himself to see that henceforth, beginning from our own time uniben students will no longer be victims but victors. The young man who is here to give us victory, happiness, contentment and enjoyment is ..... ARIGBE VICTOR. A.k.a. ARV
No more missing scripts, accommodation for all, affordable price of commodities/services, and most importantly he will make sure we have a students controlled and students centred SUG.
ARIGBE VICTOR is here to take the mantle of leadership. He has vowed to make sure that we get adequate satisfaction in our course of schooling and also that we graduate with favourable certificates because he loves us all.
